Earl Daniels is a 2008 2B/3B with a 6'0'', 185 lb. frame from Valdosta, GA who attends Valdosta HS. He has a lean athletic build. Daniels has good quickness and plays much faster than his 60 time, especially on defense, where he has quick feet and a good release at second base. His best present tool is his bat, he has good bat speed and balance and leverage at contact. Daniels showed some gap power and should continue to improve as he gets stronger. His hands are strong and quick to the ball. Daniels is also a good student.
