Jonathan Lewis is a 2011 C/P/1B with a 5'11'', 180 lb. frame from Ennis, TX who attends Ennis HS. Lewis has strong muscular build, hits from a simple stance, shows good bat speed, short line drive swing plane, gap to gap, smart base runner, good balance and pitch recognition, defensively quick transfer and release, feet work, also pitches, 3/4 arm slot, good sink on fastball, short arm action, good down angle on curveball. Lewis is also a good student.
