Christopher Heston is a 2006 RHP/3B from Bayside HS in Palm Bay, FL, with a 6'3", 165 lb. frame. He has a tall and narrow frame with projectability. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a smooth and easy arm action with very little effort. Heston has good control of his fastball that he threw from 81-84 mph with nice running action in on right handed hitters. He also mixes in a 68 mph curveball and a 76 mph change up and throws both for strikes as well. Heston goes after hitters and show a good mound presence. He changes speeds well and shows good pitchability with an understanding of how to pitch. Defensively he also showed off that live arm throwing 86 mph across the infield. At the plate he is a right handed hitter with good bat speed from an upright stance. He stays balanced through his swing, and appears to like the ball middle-in, and has power potential. He is a must follow, and a good student as well.
