Johno Hinkell is a 2007 C/P/OF with a 5'11'', 195 lb. frame from North Adams, MA who attends Drury HS. Johno has a strong well-developed build and showed good athleticism behind the plate. He has a good relaxed approach at the plate and can turn on the ball easily. If anything he gets outs on his front side to early and could improve his leverage a little bit. Behind the plate Johno has great arm strength. His footwork is a little shaky at this time and this could really help him improve his game. Johno is a strong student that should attract attention from many mid-level college programs.
