AJ Dupre is a 2009 1B/LHP with a 5'10'', 185 lb. frame from Burbank CA, who attends Burroughs. Dupre has a medium sized frame with a strong solid build. Defensively, Dupre moves well around the base at 1st and can pick it well. He has solid defensive actions and has nice hands. At the plate, Dupre is an aggressive hitter who looks to pull the ball. He has a good swing with a high finish. Dupre has bat speed with present gap to gap pop. Dupre pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a clean arm action. He has arm speed and pitches with maximum effort. He has good mechanics and with a good finish. Dupre gets sink on his fastball and throws a very good curveball.
