2006 Sunshine West Showcase
Jack Mosbacher is a 2008 OF with a 5'10'', 160 lb. frame from Woodside, CA, who attends Menlo School. Medium frame athlete with good speed and quickness. Mosbacher ran a 7.06 sixty and showed great game quickness on the bases and in the field. He has a quick first step and stole multiple bases during the showcase games. Defensively he moves to the ball well showing range and instincts. Mosbacher has good arm speed with a quick release in game action. At the plate he is a left handed hitter who hits from a slightly closed stance and a slight crouch. He has a compact line drive stroke with a fluid swing. Mosbacher makes consistent contact and looks like a top of the order table setter at the next level. He plays the game hard with enthusiasm, and is an excellent student as well. A follow for the 2008 class.
