Chris Campli is a 2007 LHP/OF with a 5'11'', 165 lb. frame from Havertown PA, who attends Haverford HS. He has a medium frame that hasn't started to fill out yet. Campli has an easy, loose arm and a minimum effort delivery. His fastball was up to 78 mph and pretty straight for a southpaw. He also threw a 66 mph curveball and 69 mph change up that showed some promise and threw strikes with all his pitches. More strength will definitely help Campli gain needed velocity as everything else works well. Campli also showed some prospect tools as an outfielder, perhaps even more than he showed as a pitcher. He's very fast, running the 60 in 6.72 and showing very good aggressiveness and instincts on the bases. Campli hits from a controlled approach and stays inside the ball well with a line drive swing. More strength will also help him with the bat. He's a good student, too.
