Brad Carter is a 2007 3B/MIF/P from Decatur HS, residing in Federal Way, WA, with a 6'0" 175 lb. frame. Has an average, athletic baseball build and some strength. Decent approach offensively. Showed some bat speed with a downward swing plane that helps to create some spin off the bat. His hands can work from time to time, so if you have seen it once, it is in there. During his swing he displayed some balance. Has a good set-up to the ball on defense and an ok release. Was aggressive to the ball. Showed some feel for the game by making easy flip throws in rhythm with his feet. Played 3B well and showed decent range. Carter has interesting abilities to consider him a small college college that should be followed this summer.
