Bubba Hardee -- Hardee is a slender 5-9 junior second baseman who showed us a great scrappy attitude towards the game and some good one-spot tools. Hardee has a deep load at the plate and really whips the bat around pretty well. His swing is on a level plane and the ball jumps fast for a player Hardee’s size. He can surprise people by driving the ball up the gaps. Hardee’s other best tool is his actions on defense. He’s very balanced approaching the ball and has a very quick release. What could keep Hardee from playing at a highest level is his speed. He really needs to work on his quickness and running ability. The bat is his #1 tool, he can hit.
