Croushore is a very slender 6-1, 145 lb left handed pitcher from Florida who also shows some promise as a hitter. He pitched 5 effective innings in Fort Myers, allowing only 1 hit while striking out 9 hitters. Croushore has some hesitation in his delivery that gives some deception to the hitters and throws strikes with 3 pitches. His fastball was 75-78 mph and he threw a 61-62 mph curveball with good downward break and a 66-68 mph change up that had some sink to it. As a hitter, Croushore has a smooth left handed swing and good, fluid hitting mechanics. He pulled some balls hard in batting practice and showed some bat speed. Physically, Croushore just needs to gain some strength and his velocity and bat speed will improve accordingly. He's defininetly a player to watch.
