Blake Crohan is a 2009 C/IF with a 5'11'', 175 lb. frame from Roswell, GA who attends Lassiter HS. Crohan shows arm strength behind the plate with a good quick exchange and release which contributed to his 1.93 pop time. He shows very good hitting ability at the plate and makes hard line drive contact. He squares balls up and drives the ball to all fields. He has easy bat speed and plus timing at the plate. His bat is one to watch in the 2009 class. A good athletic catcher who can hit. He is also an outstanding student.
