Austin Files is a 2017 RHP/OF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Valley Center, CA who attends Valley Center. Long thin young build with a lot of remaining physical development. Pitches from a high three quarters arm slot with a long loose arm action. Lot of moving parts to delivery but maintains rhythm well in spite of it and threw consistent strikes. Arm projects, deep 11-5 curveball, long stride with good extension. Hits from a high hand set with a pull approach and a big hand drop load.
