Konnor Balch is a 2016 RHP/IF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Gainesville, FL who attends F. W. Buchholz. Medium, strongly built, lean frame with room to grow. Ran a 7.38 60 yard dash. Pitches from a three-quarter arm slot and has a clean arm action. Works at 76-79 mph with his fastball. Needs to get his lower half more involved. Also mixes an 11-5 curveball at 63 mph and a 71 mph changeup with good arm speed. Gets good arm side run on his fastball. Also played the field, shows sound fielding mechanics and makes accurate throws. Bats right-handed, works from a narrow setup and hits to the middle of the field. Flashes good bat speed. Excellent student.
