Joe Damico is a 2015 C/RHP with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Jamul, CA who attends Valhalla. XL frame, tall strong thick build. Long aggressive swing with an uppercut plane, direct hand path with good extension through contact, good raw hitting tools with a balanced aggressive swing. Comfortable receiver behind the plate with defensive skill as a receiver, solid arm but can clean up some of his catch and throw mechanics to improve release time and cut down on tailing action on throws. Pitches from a high three quarters arm slot with a medium arm action, good downhill plane. Gets extension, works exclusively from the stretch, good direction to the plate, 11-5 curveball.
