Cole Schumacher is a 2016 SS with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Hays, KS who attends Hays HS. Medium athletic build, room and time to get stronger. Polished infield actions, good footwork and stays balanced well moving through the ball, light on his feet but can improve his overall foot quickness, works through and around the ball well and shows soft hands, arm strength developing. Right handed hitter, upright stance with a high hand set, simple load and shift that he repeats well, has some length to his swing but handles the barrel well and makes consistent contact, has the swing fundamentals to improve with additional strength. Good student.
