Miguel Lopez is a 2015 RHP with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Yauco, PR who attends Puerto Rico HS. Nice young pitcher's body, very projectable. Complex multi-part delivery, big pause at top with leg kick and front arm lead, long deep arm action, swings the gate and drifts, made adjustments in game to simplify delivery and improve command. Mid 80's fastball, topped out at 86 mph, mostly straight, tends to pitch glove side. Nice change up with good late sinking life. Soft sweeping curveball, tends to get under curveball at release. In game adjustments to simplify his delivery were noteworthy, must continue to refine and tone down his mechanics, has the arm and body to really keep improving.
