Josh Meadows is a 2017 LHP/1B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA who attends Lambert HS. Medium build, good strength for a freshman. Short compact arm action with some wrap in back, high 3/4's tight release point, hides the ball well, low effort release, long stride to the plate, stays directional. Fastball topped out at 71 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side run, tries to pitch to spots, has an idea how to pitch and move the ball around. Primary fastball pitcher, occasional soft curveball. Left handed hitter, rotational swing, drops back shoulder, some upper cut.
