CJ Kastner is a 2014 OF/MIF, P with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Mt. Juliet, TN who attends Mount Juliet. Large athletic projectable frame with a solid build. Has a good arm strength in the outfield with good accuracy and his throws have online carry. Has good footwork with a quick first step and covers a lot of ground. Has a square stance at the plate with a patient approach and has a good eye. Displayed good bat speed with a level swing, makes consistent hard contact and has pop in his bat. Is an outstanding student and is a player who needs to be followed.
