Tyler Brown is a 2015 LHP/1B with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Wilmington, DE who attends Salesianum. Tall, strong frame, thick lower half, has long limbs. Throws left-handed, works from a compact delivery and repeats well. Has an idea how to pitch and throws strikes. Fastball topped out at 78 mph and throws to corners. Curveball has sharp, late action at 67 mph, shows 11-5 rotation. Stays off the barrel, not much solid contact against him. Also swung the bat, has a flat, line drive swing path. Hits to the opposite field, produces line drives consistently. Gets long at times, but overall has good mechanics.
