Noah Dostal is a 2013 IF/C/RHP with a 5-8 175 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, IA who attends Washington HS. Smaller athletic frame, some present strength. Left handed hitter, balanced straight stance, pull back load with barrel wrap, long level swing, stays balanced well, spray line drive contact, will need to make adjustments with load/set up to shorten swing. 7.28 runner, good footwork in the middle infield, gets rid of the ball quickly, has some carry on throws. Also pitched, 3/4's arm slot, arm works well, can get more help from lower half. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, gets some downhill plane, mostly straight, good curveball spin with 11/5 shape and some depth, throws curveball for strikes and works ahead. Good student.
