John Davis is a 2014 SS/OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Owasso, OK who attends Owasso HS. Medium frame with room to fill. As an infielder, good lateral coverage, quick release, very active in the infield, good second base actions, arm strength is playable. Right handed hitter, simple tall stance, quick hands, pulls the ball hard, good barrel path, good approach at the plate, has good bat speed with a line drive swing plane. He makes consistent hard contact, sees that ball well at the plate. Excellent Student.
