Dezmond Chumley is a 2015 OF/RHP with a 6-0 182 lb. frame from Longview, TX who attends Longview. Chumley has a large frame with an athletic build. He's a good runner at 6.91 in the sixty yard dash and has quick feet in the outfield. He has some arm strength from the outfield with more in there with adjustments. He has developing actions with solid defensive tools. At the plate, Chumley starts with a slightly closed stance and uses a toe tap trigger to start his swing. He has quick hands and gets extension. Chumley has some pop with more power potential in there with adjustments. He also pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action and some arm speed. He has developing mechanics and could make an easy velocity jump with some minor tweaks. Interesting player.
