Travis Howard is a 2015 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Oak Ridge. Solid athletic build, good present strength. 7.64 runner, shows first step quickness and agility, good footwork and stays balanced, developing arm strength only present issue, also plays the outfield. Right handed hitter, calm balanced approach, backside hitter, has some strength and bat speed, uppercut swing plane looking to lift the ball, tends to hit under the ball, has hitting tools to continue to develop with adjustments. Also pitched, long arm action with high 3/4's arm slot, good balance in delivery, good extension out front. Mid 70's fastball, occasional sinking action, soft curveball with some 2 plane depth, throws strikes. Has overall athleticism and strength, developing his arm strength is key. Good student.
