Anthony Vlahovic is a 2008 3B/P with a 6'2'', 195 lb. frame from Bonita Springs, Florida, who attends Bishop Verot High School. Vlahovic has a good frame with athleticism and present strength in his body. He runs well for a player his size showing a lively body. Defensively he has soft hands at the hot corner allowing him to make all the plays look easy. Vlahovic has an easy arm on his throws showing solid arm strength and accuracy. A good looking 3B prospect. At the plate he hits from a wide stance with a calm hitting approach. He has solid bat speed through the hitting zone with a line drive swig plane. There is strength in his swing and he shows power potential from gap to gap. Vlahovic also has a very good eye and knowledge of the strike zone. On the mound he throws from an over the top arm slot with a short arm circle on the back side. He gets life on his fastball that topped out at 81 mph, and he throws downhill. He has a sharp curveball at times at 70 mph, and he throws strikes with both pitches. Good upside.
