Michael Vokulich is a 2014 OF/RHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Encino, CA who attends Harvard-Westlake. Medium frame, lean athletic build. Hits with a wide base, contact oriented approach, doesn't get much hip turn into swing but good bat control and upper half swing mechanics. Good bat speed, slight wrap in back elongates swing but makes up for it with hand speed, line drive plane, good balance, consistent contact, good feel for barrel. Online throws with good lower half mechanics from the outfield, good footwork. Also pitched, threw a lot of strikes from a high three quarters arm slot, pitches downhill, repeats delivery well, good extension.
