Patrick Thompson is a 2013 RHP/3B, 1B with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from Critz, VA who attends Carlisle School. Tall, big strong build. Pitches from a three quarter arm slot, online delivery, long two-piece arm action. 11-5 break on curveball with good depth and good spin, heavy sinking fastball, pitches downhlll. Straight changeup with occasional cutting action. Long aggressive swing good leverage, short smooth load, raw power. Moves well for his size at 1B, big target for infielders to throw to, good game actions defensively. Very good student.
