Trey Lapke is a 2013 C/RHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Sioux City, IA who attends Sioux City East HS. Lean athletic build. Strong arm behind the plate, good overall quickness behind the plate, short arm action, quick release, occassionally struggles with transfer on throws. Throws hands well at the plate, short bat path, lacks present strength for power but should develop with physical maturity. Contact oriented approach, squared the ball up well several times against live pitching. Good student.
