Tyler Bench is a 2014 LHP/OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Palmetto, FL who attends Palmetto. He has a nice projectable frame with a solid athletic build. He has good repeatable mechanics with good make up on the mound, has a plan when he is pitched and executes it well. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a long extended arm action, throws easy, and has a fast arm. He does a good job of mixing his pitches to set up hitters, fastball has good life to it, has good sinking action on his changeup. Has a good playable arm in the outfield with quick feet, and his throws have carry to them. Has a line drive swing at the plate showing bat speed with pop in his swing, will drive the ball more with use of his lower half. Is an excellent student.
