Zachary Bartelme is a 2014 C/OF with a 5-9 157 lb. frame from El Dorado Hills, CA who attends Liberty Ranch HS. Medium build, has some present strength. 7.43 runner, developing arm strength behind the plate, quick release and overall actions, 2.07 best pop time, can soften hands receiving the ball. Also plays outfield, good fundamentals and routes to the ball, similar quick release. Right handed hitter, back side hitter, needs to shift weight through contact, line drive swing plane, patient game hitter with a good eye, can improve with adjustments to swing mechanics.
