Cody Castro is a 2013 MIF/ with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Chula Vista, CA who attends Eastlake. Castro has a medium sized frame with a lean build. He has developing actions on the infield with developing footwork. He has nice hands and his tools profile best at 2B. At the plate, Castro starts with a square stance with a knee lift trigger. He swings on a line drive path and maintains balance through his swing He has a short path to the baseball and gets some extension. He has an aggressive approach and made hard contact in game. Solid hitting tools, very good student.
