Jagger McCoy is a 2016 LHP/1B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Boca Raton, FL who attends Boca Raton Community HS. Tall strong athletic build, especially strong hips and lower half. Very short stride out front in delivery, doesn't get over front leg, high 3/4's arm slot, tries to work downhill but can't due to stride length. Upper 70's fastball, mostly straight. Soft spinning curveball, cannot get out front with it due to hard front side, has some 1/7 depth at times, rare change up. Throws strikes and competes well. Should see immediate improvement with delivery adjustments, has been up to 84 mph in the past. Good student.
