Roger Merrell lll is a 2014 2B/OF, MIF with a 5-6 145 lb. frame from Puyallup, WA who attends Emerald Ridge. Merrell III has a lean build with room to fill out, hits from both sides of the plate, from the right side hits from a slightly open stance, pull approach, makes consistent contact, line drive plane, from the left side, wide base, easy swing, shows bat speed, pull approach, makes good contact, defensively, works down to up on ball, accurate throws, quick transfer and release, throws from all angles, outstanding student.
