Nathan Jackson is a 2013 LHP/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Bellaire HS. Live bodied athletic build, looks bigger than listed. Compact arm circle in back, very loose and extended out front, arm really works well, balanced delivery, pretty solid overall mechanics, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball to 88 mph, good arm side running action, good shape to 12/6 curveball with some depth, will have to add CB velocity, nice feel for straight change up, commands all three pitches well. Two way prospect as outfielder, 6.89 runner with smooth and athletic defensive actions and nice arm strength. Left handed hitter with bat speed, good swing mechanics, hard pull contact, squares up the ball, line drive swing but shows pull power as well. Talented all around athlete. Good student.
