Colin Lang is a 2011 2B/RHP with a 5-5 130 lb. frame from Olympia, WA who attends Olympia. Lang has a compact build, and has athleticism. Good actions on the infield, good footwork and hands, very active with a bounce in his step and moves well laterally showing good balance and body control. Straight away stance with a slight crouch at the plate, good approach, stays short to the ball with good bat speed, not a power guy but will hit line drives to all fields. Throws from an over the top arm slot on the mound, moves the ball in and out of the zone and pitches to contact, mixing in 11-5 curveball to keep hitters off balance. High energy player that goes full speed all the time. Good student.
