Jacob Threw is a 2012 OF/RHP/3B with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Oceanside, CA who attends Vista. Tall lean build, athletic, body projects to fill out well. Line-drive hitting approach, good quickness, ball comes off the bat well, flashes good bat speed, has tools to work with, needs to improve balance. Runs well, 6.84 sixty. Arm works in the outfield, good hands, accurate. 3/4 arm slot on the mound, short clean arm actions, throws all from the stretch, downhill plane, cutting action on fastball, good command of fastball. Outstanding student.
