2003 South Underclass Showcase
Eder is a strong-bodied right-hander who showed ability on the mound. With his 80-82 mph fastball he showed good life, including some cutting action and at times, good sink. He comes from a three quarters arm angle and showed 2 good breaking pitches from it. His curve was 69-72 mph and his slider was his best pitch at 73-75 showing a sharp break late in its path. He also showed a strong bat with some power and a punishing swing. At 6 foot and 195 pounds he has a good body and projects well for the coming year. With a good arm, good foot-speed and power in that bat he is sure to be watched closely by Division 1 Colleges.
