Brandon Davis is a 2015 OF/LHP with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Jonesborough, TN who attends Daniel Boone. Medium, athletic frame with a lean, projectable build and room to fill out. Above average runner, posted a 6.76 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, speed plays and covers ground with good jumps, tools play well in centerfield, short and quick arm action, gets in a good position to throw with strength and good carry on throws. Also pitched, throws from a three-quarter arm slot with a short arm action in the back. Works exclusively from the stretch and hides the ball well. Fastball topped out at 83 mph and projects for more with incorporation of lower half, sharp 1-7 curveball with big depth and feel for the pitch at 71 mph. Loose hands in swing, creates hard contact off the barrel to all fields and shows strength to the opposite field gap. Starts with a slightly crouched stance, opens front side early at times, and generates lift in swing. Outstanding student.
