Josiah Candelaria is a 2011 C/OF/RHP with a 5-11, 170 lb. frame from Sanford, FL who attends Seminole HS. Lean athletic build, room to fill out and strength. Aggressive hitting approach, shows good bat speed, stays inside the ball, good opposite field contact, will improve with slight adjustments in approach. Short quick action behind the plate, accurate arm, solid actions. 3/4 arm slot on the mound, good feel for 11-5 curveball. Good student.
