Michael Krill is a 2005 outfielder/ right handed pitcher from Cape Coral, FL. At 6'2", he has a good frame with room to add strength as he continues to mature. He hits from a spread stance with a fairly long stride, which makes it difficult to generate much leverage and bat speed. A LH hitter, Krill commits early at the plate with a slashing contact oriented swing and had a couple of good hits against live pitching in the games. The early commitment usually ends up being an opposite field stroke as the bat drags to stay on the plane of the ball. He runs fairly well and shows good instincts. His arm plays and should get stronger. He physically projects nicely and is a good student.
