Troy DeLeon is a 2012 RHP/3B, C with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from East Hampton, CT who attends Xavier (Middletown). Strong, solidly built athlete. Very compact mechanics on the mound. Slight hitch in delivery. Straight over the top release point. Has raw arm strength. Struggled a bit with control, we have so more velocity and better command in past PG tournaments. Throws 12/6 curveball at 70 with solid break and some feel. Moves well on the infield. Tools project well at 3B. Able to cover ground and field cleanly with very playable arm strength. Long swing with strength. Lots of pre-swing movement. Will benefit from better use of strength in lower half. Has some pop in his bat. Solid two-way prospect.
