Tyler Thompson is a 2012 3B/OF/1B/P with a 6'0'', 185 lb. frame from Odessa, FL who attends Jesuit HS. Big and physical for age, broad chest and shoulders, projectable build, strong now. Feet work on infield, moves well laterally, fields ball out front, longer release but makes strong accurate throws to 1B. Calm balanced approach at plate, slightly open stance, keeps front side closed, good lift and power potential in swing. Athlete on mound, over the top release, shorter arm action, smooth delivery, good feel for CH, pitchability.
