Richard Sandler is a 2012 OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Sandy Hook, CT who attends Newtown. Medium athlete with strength and room to fill out. Aggressiveness in body fielding the ball. Hands field well. Long arm action with good arm action. Has present arm strength with projection for more. Did not participate in batting practice or games. Has shown solid middle of the field contact at the plate and a high 70s fastball from the mound at previous PG showcases. Very good student.
