Jordan Pennington is a big and strong 6'2" left handed hitting 2005 first baseman from Seabrook, TX, with plus present strength. He really impressed us in the games with his swing and his approach at the plate. It looks like he’s handled a wood bat before and he’s certainly strong enough to generate some serious bat speed. Pennington stays inside the ball well and does a very good job of hitting down and through pitches. His power looks like it’s going to be in the gaps and to the middle of the field now. Big time power potential for the future. Pennington is a good follow for top colleges in Texas and beyond who are looking for a good bat for the middle of their lineups. His other tools will play as well. Jordan is an outstanding student.
