Thomas Is a 2007 third baseman, catcher, and right handed pitcher from Walton Senior High School in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He has a very stocky body with some strength. Johnathan has a good arm in the infield throwing 79 in the workout. Behind the plate, he also shows a good arm and decent pop time (2.02). As a hitter, Thomas has a big load and keeps his hands high. Johnathan throws from a low 3/4 arm slot on the mound which results in some late action on his fastball. His mechanics make him very deceiving to the hitter. He works very quickly. His changeup is his best pitch coming in at 69 mph. Thomas is also a good student.
