2005 Spring Top Prospect
Trach is a 6-0, 165 senior outfielder from British Columbia. He impressed us with his defensive skills in the outfield. Trach is a good runner at 7.15/4.46 and got very nice jumps to the ball in the outfield. His throwing mechanics are solid and he showed nice arm strength at 82 mph with a quick release. At the plate, Trach hits out of a slightly crouched stance and has a short, wristy swing. He doesn’t get any lower body involvement in his swing or extension out front with his hands, which hurts his potential to drive the ball. Trach is an excellent student.
