Jonathan Walsh is a 2009 C/3B/OF with a 6'3'', 211 lb. frame from Coppell, TX who attends Coppell HS. Walsh has a big strong build and is very athletic. He ran an incredible 6.58 sixty for a guy his size. He shows good arm strength behiind the plate and is quick. He is a switch hitting catcher with gap to gap power. He has good bat speed and made hard line drive contact. He stays inside the ball and can drive the ball to all fields. He has big power potential and his bat is very interesting. It will be fun to watch all of his tool come together and progress. Walsh might be too athletic to keep him behind the plate and watch him get beat up. Then again he is very good back there.
