Connor Carignan is a 2008 OF from Norwich Free Academy, residing in Norwich, Connecticut, with a 5'9"/160 pound frame. Brother of 2007 Athletic's 5th Round Pick Andrew Carignan. Connor has a lean and athletic frame. He hits from a straight stance with a short swing and solid hands. Carignan has slight lift in his swing and is a gap hitter. He stays inside the ball well and uses the whole field to hit. His swing gets long at times and he needs to add strength to his frame. Connot has long arm action from the outfield with a solid release at 81 mph. He moves to the ball well and has solid actions defensively. Carignan is an excellent student.
