Danny Meltzer is a 2008 OF with a 6'0'', 170 lb. frame from Vienna, Austria, who attends the American Int'l School. He has a medium build and developing strength. Meltzer lives in Vienna, Austria and is spending the summer in the United States playing baseball. Although he hasn't seen this level of competition before, Meltzer battled hard and made lots of adjustments in a short amount of time. He kept his swing short to the ball and was able to stay inside pitches and make consistent contact against high velocity pitching. Defensively, Meltzer has a strong throwing arm from the outfield and was accurate with his throws. He's a 7.48 runner. Meltzer is an excellent student as well.
