Glenn Goodrich is a 2006 outfielder from Naples, Florida, with a 5'8", 155 lb. frame. Defensively Goodrich has a very strong arm with good carry and his throws were on line. He has fluid actions in the outfield, and his speed helps him cover some ground. He ran a 7.03 sixty and showed even better game quickness. Goodrich's combination of arm strength and speed should easily get the attention of higher level college coaches. He is a right handed hitter with a fluid swing, and showed very good bat speed in the showcase games. Goodrich swings hard which sometimes causes his lower half to break down, but he did show some strength in his swing to the pull side. His swing and approach were better in the games than in batting practice. He collected 3 hits in 7 at bats, with two hard hit line outs. Goodrich is a solid follow, and he is a very good student as well.
