2003 World Showcase
We've seen Low several times in the past couple years. He has a good projectable athletic body with room for added strength. His arm is outstanding. 80 mph velocity and a quick 2.87 pop time with accuracy. He popped some 2 flats in the games with throws on the money. He runs well for a catcher and has very good instincts behind the plate. Low is a switch hitter that uses the whole field. He has a line drive approach and stays inside the ball. Sometimes the bat drags a little through the zone. He needs to be more aggressive at the plate. He shows good hitting skills and as he gets stronger he should hit with wood bat power. Overall excellent catcher who projects to get even better. He can play at the highest level of college baseball and end up in professional baseball in a few years.
